Through the first few centuries after Christ's first advent, the original Gospel became corrupted. Essential knowledge and insights were lost. Pagan practices and ideas became entrenched as leaders from other faiths joined Christianity, but retained and preached much of their former pagan concepts. In the process, the truth of the full Gospel became muddled. It became our duty to recover what was lost.

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." (Jude 1:3, KJV)
